CLINICAL TOUR OF JAPANESE OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

During a clinical tour, OT students from Japan visit hospitals, rehabilitation centers, clinics, and other healthcare facilities where they observe the application of occupational therapy techniques in real-world settings. These visits provide them with a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by patients and the critical role occupational therapists play in improving the quality of lives of individuals

As part of their clinical tour, was observing how residents engaged in their assigned task and assessing their abilities such as motor skills, cognitive function, and overall independence. This hands-on experience allowed the students to apply their theoretical knowledge in a practical setting while gaining insight into the therapeutic value of everyday activities.

After completing their activities at the House of Hope, the visiting Japanese students eagerly gathered for a commemorative photo with the residents and staffs. This moment symbolized not only the cultural exchange that took place but also the meaningful connections they had built throughout their visit. It was a reflection of kindness, understanding, and friendship that transcend borders.

REVITALIZATION OF THE VISITOR'S LOUNGE

House of Hope is slowly but surely getting back on track after the devastating impact of typhoon Odette. One of our key restoration projects is the rebuilding of the Visitor’s Lounge, which also serves as the Children’s Ministry—a space that has long been a place of comfort, learning, and fellowship for both visitors and young hearts.

Despite the challenges, we have remained steadfast in our mission, and with the help of dedicated individuals and generous supporters, the reconstruction is well underway. Every masonry laid and every rivet fastened brings us closer to restoring this space into a warm and welcoming haven once again. As we continue this work of rebuilding, we remain hopeful and grateful for the strength and unity within our community.

The renewed Visitor's Lounge is more than just a facelift—it is a reflection of our dedication to hospitality, innovation, and excellence. As the first point of contact for many of our guests, the lounge now truly embodies the spirit of our organization.

Your prayers, support, and contributions make a difference. Together, we are not just rebuilding a structure—we are restoring hope, faith, and the future of the children who call House of Hope their home

A BLESSED ADDITION TO OUR HOMESTEAD

We are beyond grateful for the abundant blessings that the Lord has poured upon us. Recently, He made a way for us to expand our little farm by providing an additional chicken coop! This new addition is more than just a structure—it is a testament to God’s provision and faithfulness in our lives.

With this extra space, our chickens will have more room to thrive, and we will be able to continue raising them with care. Whether it’s fresh eggs for our family or an opportunity to share with others, we see this as another way God is working through our homestead.

We give all the glory to Him, knowing that every good gift comes from above. May this coop be a blessing not just to us but to everyone who benefits from what it provides.

“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:19

As we rejoice in this blessing, we are also reminded of the importance of giving back. Just as God has provided for us, we want to use what we have to bless others—whether that means sharing eggs, helping others start their own small farms, or simply encouraging those who are waiting on their own answered prayers.

We give all the glory to God, for He is the giver of every good thing. Our hearts are full of gratitude, and we look forward to seeing how this new coop will be used for His glory.
