The House of Hope Inc. is a Christian Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Center located at Gun-ob, Lapu-lapu City.  We are SEC registered and accredited by the Department of Health. Our center provides a holistic program with four components: Physical, Vocational, Social, and Spiritual Therapies to those who are willing to get out of the bondage of drug addiction. We give special emphasis on the Spiritual aspect believing in the power of the Word of God, salvation found in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and the work of the Holy Spirit (through spiritual disciplines) to transform their live and even touch the lives of their immediate family members.

For the past 26 years, it has always been our burden and our desire to extend help to those who are financially less fortunate to undergo a Recovery Program not to mention that we are non-profit organization.

In this regard we are humbly asking your good office for financial assistance to support their program. It will be of invaluable help to augment our resources in this noble endeavor to bring hope to those who have none. The biggest need at the present is our resident’s incapacity to pay for their monthly program fee (P15,000.00), monthly lot rental, daily food, and electricity. You can also give in kind (food, office needs, bibles, etc.)

Greetings and Blessings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

PROGRAM
A resident is to complete a Twelve Month, in-residence program.  Only male drug dependents are accepted (after passing a cross examination panel and laboratory clearance) to undergo recovery regardless of age, nationality and religion.  Although the ministry is being guided by Christian principles, the residents must submit to the rules and policies sanctioned by the Department of Health, and also be able to participate with daily activities of physical recovery, counseling, work therapy and vocational development, with strong emphasis on spiritual disciplines and growth in their relationship with God.  As of this writing, the ministry houses about a total of 27 residents, with 11 staff members, 12 volunteer workers, and 5 in-residence under the aftercare program.
